The registration of events of births and deaths is essential for population count and to know birth rate and death rate.

The Registration of Events Monitoring System (REMS) is a computer system that registers the events of births and deaths that take place throughout the country in hospitals and homes. It is a mobile based Monitoring System for Registration of Events (Birth and Death), that is available 24X7.
