APEDA's GrapeNet wins GOLD Award for e-governance

APEDA has been given National Award for e-Governance for the year 2007-08 under the category of “Special Sectoral Award-Focus sector Agriculture” for GrapeNet traceability system by Department of Administrative Reforms & Public Grievances, Govt. of India jointly with Department of Information Technology, Govt. of India.

Grapenet has won the eASIA award for the year 2009 for its pioneering achievements in bridging the digital divide, in an important area of international trade. The eASIA Awards are administrated by Asia Pacific Council for Trade Facilitation and Electronic Business (AFACT), set up under the aegis of United Nations (UN). The results were announced on 5 November, at the eASIA Night in New Delhi as a part of this year’s Twenty seventh AFACT Meetings and EDICOM 2009.
