We have an opening for Technical Documentation Writer who has great interest in writing technical documentations and user manuals for our IT solutions and products. The candidate needs to have similar experience in preparing such manuals/documentations.

Job Description:

  • Collaborate with subject matter experts, project managers, and professional services to understand the scope, process and then create technical documentation.
  • Develop and maintain templates, standards and documentation tools
  • Analyze documentation defects and make appropriate corrections.
  • Do technical writing most content will be provided but the proposal writer needs to intelligently incorporate the content.
  • Should be familiar with Visio or similar softwares to create process drawings or workflows
  • Should be familiar with MS Word (Formatting, template creation, understanding of Macro, content linking etc)
  • Should be familiar with MS Excel (Basic formula, Lookups, Pivot table etc)
  • Perform cleanup work like consistent font, page set up, color, headings, sub headings, line space, etc.
  • Knowledge of HTML, Share Point (2010/2013)
  • Having exposure to standard ISO processes related to Documentation will be a great advantage.
  • Restructure content and add new PowerPoint slides.
  • Excellent computer skills. Should be well versed with the use of MS Office
  • Requires excellent verbal and written communication skills to communicate
