Logicsoft helps National Horticulture Board to Launch NHB Interactive

National Horticulture Board (NHB) was set up by the Government of India in 1984 as an autonomous society under the Societies Registration Act 1860 with a mandate to promote integrated development in horticulture, to help in coordinating , stimulating and sustaining the production and processing of fruits and vegetables and to establish a sound infrastructure in the field of production, processing and marketing with a focus on post harvest management to reduce losses.

To develop high quality horticultural farms in identified belts and make such areas vibrant with horticultural activity which in turn will act as hubs for developing commercial horticulture by adopting high-tech horticulture techniques; To develop post-harvest management infrastructure; To improve linkages between horticulture producers and marketers; To create integrated network for marketing of horticulture produce; To increase producer?s share in consumer price;

Logicsoft has designed, developed and implemented and easy to use online application with the focus of assisting farmers and entrepreneurs to apply online for Letter of Intent and also track their application status.

NHB Interactive provides an opportunity to apply for New Projects. It also provides an option to track the status of application online that are submitted to NHB through a Project Reference No. provided by the system during the submission of application online. However applicants can also apply through physical application Form. Along with these online features, there is a completely integrated backend application tracking and management system has also been developed for the NHB Officers located in various State Nodal Offices and the Head Quarters.

The solution developed helps National Horticulture Board in providing a start-of-the-art facility to the farmers and entrepreneurs to apply and track LOI applications online through its newly launched section.
